The experience of FCC Construcción in railway projects in Romania is reflected in the following works:

  • The rehabilitation of the Brasov Simeria railway line. The Sighioara-Atel section, involving the modernisation of the railway line adapting to speeds of 160 km/h. The section was 28.266 km of double electrified lines and the development of four new stretches with total length of 8.98 km. In addition, two stations and two stops were redeveloped.
  • The rehabilitation of the Brasov Simeria railway line. The Atel-Micasasa section, involving the modernisation of the railway line adapting it to speeds of 160 km/h. The section of double electrified lines measured 29.6 km and included the development of 10.05 km of new lines and the redevelopment of two stations and three stops.
  • The extension of Line 5 of the Bucharest Metro, development of Line 1 of the Bucharest Metro between the Raul Doamnei and Hasdeu stations with a total length of 6,120 km. It consisted of two parallel tunnels, a tunnel to connect lines 1 and 5, and nine underground stations.
