FCC Construcción in Peru has put its know-how of underground projects to good use with the construction works on Line 2 of the Lima metro. The underground transport network will include 35 stations connected by 35 kilometres of tunnels on completion. It will be 27 kilometres long and will cover the east-west axis of Lima from Ate to Callao. Once up and running, its 27 passenger stations will provide service to more than 600,000 people per day who will save up to 90 minutes on their journey.
