PALLAS reactor
The project involves the construction of the PALLAS reactor and the surrounding buildings.
The PALLAS reactor is important in enabling many patients with cancer and cardiovascular diseases to be treated and diagnosed. These patients rely on the medical isotopes produced at Petten, the former high-flux reactor. The PALLAS reactor will also contribute to research into a CO₂-free energy supply.
