The first edition of the Pallas Project Suppliers Day was a success in terms of participation

The first edition of the Pallas Project Suppliers Day was a success in terms of participation. The event, organised by FCC Construcción with the support of the project client, brought together more than 40 local suppliers and was attended by 110 people from the construction and technology sector. The objective was to generate interest among suppliers in the project, raise awareness and attract potential companies to participate.
The event, held at the Energy and Health Campus, near the site where the PALLAS reactor is being built, provided an opportunity to present key information about the Pallas Project, giving an overview of the milestones, the supply chain and the procurement process.
In December 2023, FCC Construcción was selected as the main contractor for the construction of the PALLAS reactor. Local suppliers are now being sought to contribute to this unique project.
The arrival of the PALLAS reactor is important for many patients with often life-threatening diseases, such as cancer and cardiovascular disease. For their treatment and diagnosis, these patients depend on medical isotopes produced in Petten, in the old high-flux reactor. With the construction of the new reactor, it will be possible to continue helping patients for many decades to come. The PALLAS reactor will also contribute to research into a CO2-free energy supply.
