The new bridge connects the heart of the Terminal Island port complex with the Port of Long Beach and serves as a gateway to the city center and other nearby California communities. It is the first cable-stayed bridge built in the state of California. This is one of the most iconic road projects undertaken by the company in North America, successfully completed following a massive technical undertaking. The project involved the design and construction of a colossal structure that replaced the original bridge dating back to the 1960s. It is a vital thoroughfare handling more than 15% of all maritime import traffic entering the United States.

Bridge Replacement and Repair in Pennsylvania

This involves the development of the Major Bridge P3 programme – a public-private partnership (P3) mega-project aimed at modernising the state’s road infrastructure. The contract covers the design, financing, reconstruction and subsequent maintenance of nine strategic bridges located throughout Pennsylvania. These structures, originally built between the 1950s and 1960s, required complete replacement to bring them into line with current safety and load-bearing capacity standards.
