FCC Construcción has successfully passed the follow-up assessment carried out by Madrid Excelente, consolidating its position as a leader in business management, sustainability, innovation and commitment to people. Furthermore, the company has been awarded the “Madrid Excelente – Cybersecure Workplace” distinction for the first time, a recognition that attests to the maturity and robustness of its cybersecurity practices.

Among the aspects most highly rated are the roll-out of the 2023–2026 Sustainability Strategy, the maintenance of certified environmental, quality, health and safety management systems, as well as its firm commitment to ethics, transparency and regulatory compliance. The report also recognises the company’s participation in national and international initiatives linked to sustainability and innovation in the construction sector.

Madrid Excelente has highlighted FCC Construcción’s progress in innovation and digital transformation. Over the past year, the company has obtained certification for its innovation management system in accordance with the ISO 56001 standard, has continued to drive forward strategic digitalisation projects and has expanded the use of artificial intelligence tools throughout the organisation.

One of the most significant milestones in this assessment was the award of the “Madrid Excelente – Cybersecure Site” designation, following confirmation that FCC Construcción has achieved an adequate level of maturity in areas such as cybersecurity governance, risk management, incident response, business continuity, digital supply chain security, and staff training and awareness.

This new recognition reinforces FCC Construcción’s commitment to integrating digital security as a strategic element within its management model, ensuring the protection of information, the resilience of its operations and the trust of customers, partners and stakeholders.
