FCC to build the Formula 1 circuit in Valencia

The Government of Valencia has awarded FCC the contract to build the first section of the future Formula 1 city circuit in Valencia.

The section - Alameda-Avenida de Francia-Puerto - has a budget of €31.73 million and will be built by FCC in a temporary joint venture with other companies. The circuit must be finished by 24 August 2008, the day on which the European GP will be contested in the city.
