José Llorca, president of the National Ports Authority (Puertos del Estado), Joan Gual de Torrella, president of the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands and Xavier Ramis, director-general for Ports and Airports of the Government of the Balearic Islands all attended this edition of the event. As regards FCC, Francisco Esteban, technical manager of FCC Construcción and president of the ATPYC, took part in the opening presentation.

Under the title “Planning and Managing Ports and Coasts”, the congress addressed matters including the integration of ports in global transport chains, the management of the public domain of ports and coasts, and sustainability.
