FCC Construcción has reaffirmed its position in the 15th edition of MERCO's ESG Ranking of Most Responsible Companies. This ranking measures the environmental (E), social (S) and ethical and corporate governance (G) performance of companies operating in Spain.

FCC Construcción ranks fourth in the infrastructure, services, and construction category, moving up one position from the 2024 ranking, once again demonstrating the company's corporate commitment to social, economic, environmental, and governance responsibility. 

The results are based on an exhaustive and detailed analysis of more than 60,205 surveys, using 24 sources of information and six perspectives as a reference. Specifically, Merco Responsabilidad ESG España 2025 involved the participation of 1,372 executives, 78 CSR experts, 81 financial analysts, 62 economic and social journalists, 124 members of “Government,” 100 NGO leaders, 75 union leaders, 60 consumer association leaders, 103 social media managers, 4,750 citizens, as well as the latest edition of Merco Talento (53,214 people in the sample) and Merco Digital (in collaboration with Nethodology), which analyzes publications and conversations generated on social media. In addition, objective indicators in different dimensions, provided by 83 companies, were studied.

The analysis not only provides an overview of corporate performance, but also facilitates a direct comparison of the level of responsibility among companies belonging to the same sector. In this edition, the top 200 companies evaluated have been distributed across 3,123 sector rankings, a comprehensive classification that identifies the players most committed to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria.
