FCC Construcción publishes its first Water Footprint Report

FCC Construcción, reinforcing its transparency, publishes its first Water Footprint Report, the result of the accounting and verification process carried out for all its activities at national and international level. This report has been prepared and certified in accordance with the methodology established by the Water Footprint Network (WFN), an international reference body for measuring water use.
The Water Footprint is a key indicator of the total volume of freshwater used directly or indirectly in the production of goods and services. The report provides a detailed account of the components that make up this indicator - blue and grey water footprint - and offers a clear vision of the water impact of FCC Construcción's operations in Australia, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Canada, Qatar, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Spain, the United States, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Peru, Portugal, Romania, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Based on the data collected by its management system, FCC Construcción has calculated the water used in the development of its activities at country and site level. With the accounting and verification of its Water Footprint, it reaffirms its commitment to environmental protection and sustainable water management. This achievement is a significant step towards reducing the environmental impact of its operations and promoting the sustainable use of water.
