FCC Construcción publishes its Greenhouse Gas Emissions Report for the 2024 financial year

Once again, FCC Construcción reinforces its commitment to sustainability and environmental transparency through the publication of its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Report, the result of the accounting and verification process carried out for all its activities at both national and international levels. This report outlines the methodology used for calculating emissions across scopes 1, 2, and 3, and has been prepared and certified in accordance with the ISO 14064-1 standard and the GHG Protocol, both recognized for their rigor in quantifying greenhouse gas emissions.
The Carbon Footprint is a key indicator that measures the total volume of CO₂ equivalent emissions generated directly or indirectly through construction activities. The report provides a detailed breakdown of emissions associated with FCC Construcción’s operations in Australia, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Qatar, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Spain, the United States, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Peru, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Romania.
Based on data collected through its environmental management system, FCC Construcción has calculated the emissions generated in each project and country, reaffirming its commitment to combating climate change and continuously improving its processes. The publication of this report marks a significant step toward the decarbonization of the construction sector and the adoption of responsible practices that minimize environmental impact.
