FCC Construcción participates in the 15th edition of Investructuras, the Annual Congress on Infrastructure Investment and Financing. This is Spain's leading congress on investment and financing in the infrastructure sector. Every year, the event brings together all the players involved in the investment process: financial institutions, construction companies and/or concessionaires, public administration, legal advisors, insurance companies, etc.

In this edition, Investructuras has consolidated its role as a leading forum for professionals in the sector. FCC Construcción, represented by Leyre Navarro, Director of Legal Advice, participated in the round table discussion on ‘legal challenges’. This round table analysed how the concession model is the only way to execute projects without relying exclusively on public funds, and reviewed various flexible and collaborative formulas as alternatives to the immobilisation of concessions.

FCC Construcción also participated in an international panel, represented by Yago Mijangos, Director for Western Europe, the Middle East and Australia. This round table analysed the challenges, risks and strategies in the international market; the company's presence and activity in certain countries and/or regions; the main opportunities and types of projects; investment models: government plans, public-private partnerships, local partners and project financing.

With FCC Construcción's renewed participation in the Investructuras forum, it continues to connect with the main players in national and international infrastructure investment, positioning the company's relevance in the planning and execution of major international projects.
