The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg recognises, in the 7th edition of its Company of the Year Award, the great track record of FCC Construcción and its relevance in the international and especially in the European market.
FCC Construcción has once again renewed for the ninth time, positively its registration in the Registry of carbon footprint, compensation and carbon dioxide absorption projects of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, thus obtaining the “Calculation and I reduce ”.
Revenues from the construction area of the FCC Group increased by 8.7% to 1,209.7 million euros during the first nine months of 2021. The revenue growth in the area is due to the sustained good rhythm of execution in projects both in Spain as in Europe and Latin America.
FCC Construcción has been selected to tender the expansion project of the Sydney Metro to the West Sydney Airport. This is the third major package of contracts for Airport Metro.
The net attributable profit achieved in the first nine months of the year was 384.9 million euros, which represents an increase of 120.6% compared to that obtained in the previous year.
