FCC Construcción continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and the fight against climate change by implementing measures aimed at the circular economy and the decarbonisation of its operations. As a result of these actions, the company has managed to prevent the emission of more than 194,000 tonnes of CO₂ equivalents in 2025, contributing significantly to the reduction of its environmental footprint.

On the one hand, the proper management and recovery of waste generated on its projects has prevented the emission of 132,529 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent. In 2025, the company has managed to recover nearly 95 per cent of the waste generated, consolidating its commitment to the principles of the circular economy. Waste recovery offers a sustainable alternative to landfill, promoting the return of resources to the production cycle, reducing the need for virgin raw materials and avoiding the associated emissions.
Furthermore, FCC Construcción’s commitment to innovation and responsible procurement has driven the use of materials with a lower environmental impact, which has prevented an additional 59,228 tonnes of CO₂. The selection of sustainable, secondary or recycled materials from certified sources is one of the key drivers for reducing the embedded carbon in its operations and moving towards more efficient and environmentally friendly construction.

These results reflect FCC Construcción’s commitment to integrating sustainability into every phase of its projects, promoting construction models aligned with the principles of the circular economy and international decarbonisation targets.

The reduction in emissions associated with waste recovery and the use of sustainable materials demonstrates that it is possible to combine the development of major infrastructure with environmental protection.
