FCC has won a new contract to reform a road in Romania. Valued at €37 million, it consists of widening and improving the 52.2 km of the Timisoara-Lugoj section of national road NR6, with a schedule of 20 months. It also involves renovating nine bridges and building another three, excavating 294,348 cubic metres and using approximately 280,000 tonnes of asphalt mixes.

FCC Construcción's portfolio of work in Romania is now worth €500 million, to which must be added Alpine's €200 million portfolio.
