Montajes Gavisa, SA Changes its name to Deneo Energía e infraestructuras, SA
Also announces the winning of a €21 million project in Barcelona.

As part of its new stage within the FCC group, Montajes Gavisa SA has changed its name to Deneo Energía e Infraestructuras, SA.
Deneo includes part of the structure of the former Montajes Gavisa SA, with its experience of over 25 years in installing overhead contact wires, railway signals and communications and low, medium and high voltage electricity distribution systems.
"We are very proud that FCC group management has placed its confidence in us," stated Deneo manager Ramón Romero Correcher. "Becoming part of this great family is a very important milestone for us since being able to take advantage of the power of this group will make us more solvent, more effective, quicker and more competitive."

Deneo appears at a key moment for the development of the power industry and civil infrastructures, maintaining and strengthening its traditional businesses in the railway sector and in power distribution and with new objectives in the development of sustainable, environmentally respectful power and the provision of power solutions for large scale civil engineering projects.
Adjudication of the project to extend line 4 of the Barcelona underground
Deneo has also announced today that the Catalan railway infrastructures management company, Gisa, as awarded it the project to extend and improve the power supply to line 4 of the Barcelona underground. The project also includes remodelling the sub-stations in Maragall, Verdaguer and Verneda and the s-called "railway triangle." The adjudication budget is €22,131,403.66 (including VAT) and has a schedule of 29 months.
