The Madrid regional School of Civil Engineers (CICCP) is launching its Seventh Award Ceremony, which is intended to defend the usefulness and prestige of the civil engineering profession and its works.

Moreover, this year, two new categories are included. To the long-standing "Best Public Works in the Community of Madrid", "Best Municipal Public Works", "Best Journalistic Work", "Outstanding Engineer" and "Young Professional", now must be added the "Award for Responsibility and Sustainability" for supportive actions or projects from a company or engineer and "Best Foreign Project", an award for a foreign project involving a Spanish engineering or construction company.

The inscription period for presenting candidates will be open until the 15th of September and the judges' decision is expected during October. The winners of these awards will receive commemorative sculptures and diplomas in recognition of their work.
