The FCC CONSTRUCCIÓN prizes in acknowledgement of the top three students of the Polytechnic University of Madrid School of Civil Engineering's Class of 2010 were handed out by José Mayor Oreja, chairman of the company, to Abraham Laguna Cubero, first in his class, León Morera González, second, and Borja Regúlez Pérez, third. These prizes, established in 1993, accord to each winning student a sum of economic aid to help the student in his or her academic career.

The prize-giving ceremony was held on 15 February last at the school auditorium. The ceremony was attended by the chancellor of the Polytechnic University, Javier Uceda Antolín, and the director of the School of Civil Engineering, Juan A. Santamera.
