On 29 April, FCC Construcción welcomed students from the Carolina Foundation, to share with them the firm's environmental management system and implementation of best practices. The visit continued with a trip to the Las Dehesas beo-methane plant on theValdemingómez technology estate, which is being built by FCC Construcción and FCC Medioambiente for Madrid City Council.

FCC finances 15 grants every year for Latin American graduates interested in the "Environmental Management Policies and Instruments" training scheme, which is promoted by the Carolina Foundation and targeted at public and private managers in Latin America with responsibilities for environmental management.
