The Chairman of FCC Construcción, José Mayor Oreja, has received the Medal of Honour from the Civil Engineers' Association in a ceremony in the Agustín de Betancourt Room, presided over by the Association's Chairman, Edelmiro Rúa.

Manuel Martín Antón, Chairman of the Public Works Council, who was also honoured, addressed the assembly in the name of the award winners, congratulated them in a magisterial speech and humourous speech.

The Medal of Honour is awarded annually to civil engineers who have made an outstanding and public contribution or who have carried out professional actions of unquestionable merit or have made an outstanding contribution to the profession.
