Sociedad Estatal de Infraestructuras y Equipamientos Penitenciarios, the national penitentiary infrastructure and outfitting company, has awarded FCC the contract to build the Social Integration Centre in Murcia, which will take ten months to complete, with a budget of 6.8 million euro.

The centre will be laid out in a comb-shaped plan, with the dormitory buildings jutting out perpendicular to the service building. The entire complex will have two stories, except in the accommodations area, which will rise to three stories.

The new Integration Centre will have 152 rooms, some of which will be equipped for persons of reduced mobility, a lounge area, an occupational area with two classrooms, a library and a gym, a care and health area and a common service area.
