This week we have launched the new FCC Construcción website: www.fccco.es. The launch of the website, designed by a strategic group led by the IT department, which we have formed part of in order to shape its implementation in the Infrastructures area, is part of the company's digital transformation project.

This process focuses on five aspects: cost saving + time saving + resource improvement + synergies + digital image and reputation improvement.

We have completely redesigned our website with the aim of offering a more up-to-date, practical and useful site, providing a suitable environment in which to give the best service to our clients and users.

This latest version includes several new features, improvements in design and browsing, and content and technology, which can be summarised as follows:

• User focused design: the useful site is responsive, meaning it adapts to the device used to browse it (mobile, tablet or PC). The use of icons, graphics and illustrations has been increased and we have provided a new information layout so contents can be accessed quickly and easily. We have also used moving banners on the HOME page to catch the attention of users.
• Simplified browsing: the structure of the sections has been developed and simplified to facilitate access to the most common sections, now more extensive and updated, allowing users to easily browse our activity.
• Practical contents and participation: we have strengthened the latest news contents using our updated media room. We have integrated Ciudad FCC and linked the website to our social networks. Information on the website is available in English and Spanish, and the home and news pages are available in Catalan.
• New technology: we have incorporated the latest technological developments (LIFERAY) to provide better website functionality to an ever-greater number of users who access our information and services through more diverse means.
• Focused on needs: all these new features are the result of months of work and research, carried out with aim of meeting the increasingly demanding needs and expectations of our clients and users. We have conducted a ranking study on search engines and we are implementing it so our website takes the first few positions in search engines. The website can be accessed by people with disabilities, meeting the AA level.

We are still working on integrating all the websites, which is expected to be finished on 30 June. We will keep you informed on the progress of the infrastructures portal.
