The Government of Andalusia has awarded FCC Construcción in a joint venture with another company the project to build the Noreña health centre in Córdoba for € 36,8 million.

The building - a first aid and high resolution specialities centre - will be located on the site of the old Noreña hospital. The project has been prepared by Sener Ingeniería y Sistemas SA on a site of 9,000 m2 at the corner between Isla de Lanzarote, Isla Formentera and Islas Sisargas streets and will have a total built up area of 46.000 m2 of which 14.000 m2 will be above ground on three stories and 32.000 m2 in the centre's four basements.

Work will start this summer, within two months of the definitive adjudication of the contract by the contracting organisation and is scheduled to last 30 months.
