ALPINE to build Estonian Embassy in Peking

ALPINE to build Estonian Embassy in Peking

ALPINE, the Austrian subsidiary of FCC, will start building the new Estonian Embassy in Peking's embassy district today. The building was planned by the Estonian architects "Studio 3" and will cost approx. 4 million euros.

White exposed concrete, glass and sun protection made of natural Estonian wood will characterize the modern, 3-story building. ALPINE will hand over the new embassy building at the end of 2012.

The Austrian ALPINE Construction Company is a global player

The Austrian ALPINE Construction Company is a member of the FCC Group and has built roads, motorways, power plants, stadiums, railways and subways, bridges, residential, commercial and industrial buildings around the world. ALPINE is responsible for the construction of three stadiums for the 2012 European Football Championships in Poland as well as subway lines in New Delhi and Singapore. ALPINE has already finished the boring of Pinglu Tunnel in China, which will allow the water transfer to the driest regions.
