FCC Construcción awarded the contract for the Eastern Valladolid Outer Ring Road worth 95 million euros
The contract price is 95 million euros and the scheduled duration of the works is 32 months.
The Board of Directors of the Spanish Land Transport Infrastructures Corporation has awarded FCC Construcción the contract for the Valladolid Eastern Outer Ring Road, on the section between the Duero Dual-Carriageway -A-11-, from the San Cristóbal intersection, and the Castile Dual-Carriageway -A-62-.
The new route will complete a new ring road for East Valladolid, improving the city’s road network and channelling some of the long-distance traffic between Northern and Central Spain.
The works include the building of 13.1 kilometres of dual-carriageway, eleven viaducts, four overpasses and seven underpasses, as well as all the crosswise and lengthwise drains, signage, bollards and safety barriers that are typical of dual-carriageways of this type.
The cross-section of the road section consists of a dual-carriageway 7 metres wide, with 2.5 metre hard shoulders and 1 metre inner shoulders. The central reservation is 14 metres wide, which may be reduced to 7 metres if it becomes necessary to widen the road to three lanes per carriageway.
