ALPINE consortium -ALPINE Construction Polska Sp.zo.o and ALPINE Bau Deutschland AG- signed a contract as a general contractor to built the Renaissance Hotel on the Chopin airport in Warsaw.

The five-star-hotel will turn to one of the most prestigious project on the Chopin airport at Warsaw. The Renaissance Hotel will have a floor space of 16.756 m2, with 225 rooms on eight floors. The ground plan represents a rectangle where the entrance and conference area will be situated. Restaurants, conference rooms, swimming pool, fitness and wellness area as an underground garage are planned. The design comes from the architect office JEMS ARCHITEKCI Sp.z.o.o. and has a value of 26 million euro. Execution works will last 20 months.

ALPINE has a great competence in hotel construction. They built or have under construction among others like the Empire Riverside in Hamburg, the deluxe Hotel Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt or the five star hotel in the „Zoofenster Berlin". In Vienna there have been finished a hotel construction in the area of „Viertel Zwei".

Poland, a growing market

For the ALPINE group Poland is a very interesting and attractive market. Apart from the large-scale projects such as the construction of stadiums and the ongoing infrastructure projects to hold the Euro cup 2012. With this contract ALPINE will enlarge its presence in Poland.

Moreover, FCC has a stable presence in this country, where is developing among other projects the design and construction of the Tram of Olsztyn, a university town with an increasingly cosmopolitan population, which demand modern infrastructure.
