ALPINE Bau GmbH received official license from the Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology for freight transports The Austrian ALPINE Construction Company increasingly relies on rail transport. The company has executed railway construction projects in Austria and abroad for years.
ALPINE Bau GmbH received the safety certificate from the Ministry of Infrastructure (BMVIT) for rail operations on the Austrian Federal Railway (ÖBB) lines. As a licensed railway company, ALPINE is now permitted to convey and offer freight transports on the ÖBB's entire rail network. As a railway company, ALPINE is now permitted to convey material by rail in an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective way, resulting even more efficient construction site logistics. ALPINE intends to offer third-party freight transports on the free market as well.

The Austrian ALPINE Construction Company is a member of the FCC Group and has built roads, motorways, power plants, stadiums, railways and subways, bridges, residential, commercial and industrial buildings around the world. Together with its subsidiary, ALPINE-ENERGIE, it promotes the construction and development of sustainable, alternative energies and energy networks.
