ALPINE recently celebrated the final breakthrough of tunneling construction work for the extension of the Metro network in Singapore. The construction of the 33-km loop line, tendered by the Land Transport Authority of Singapore -LTA-

To be developed in five stages starting in 2003. ALPINE landed two construction sections under a joint venture.

This section includes 4 new Metro stations and tunnels over a length of 8.3 km. The contract value is EUR 190.67 million.

The first Metro contract section in Singapore with a value of ~ EUR 73.4 million was successfully completed at the end of May 2009.
