FCC Construcción enters a cooperation programme with the Barcelona School of Advanced Industrial Engineering

The company will help with the industrial architecture and building course

The Barcelona School of Advanced Industrial Engineering at Catalonia Polytechnic University has established a cooperation programme with FCC Construcción, with its fifth-year students in mind.

FCC Construcción will be helping out with the industrial architecture and building course, which is compulsory for majors in construction, by providing a set of seven sessions on theory complemented by technical videos on important projects and the processes by which they were built. The agreement also includes tours of different projects in progress.

Because it has a strong commitment to society, FCC Construcción wants to contribute to development by adding its knowledge and sharing its experience with the community where it operates. Its support for education, culture and future generations is embodied in the different programmes and agreements the company has with universities and other institutions of learning.

FCC Construcción participates in two programmes run by the European University of Madrid's Advanced Building Centre, both of which also have the cooperation of the Antonio Camuñas Foundation. One is the executive programme in construction management, and the other is the master's degree in building and civil construction management. FCC also cooperates with AETOS's master's degree programme in tunnels and underground construction, and it supports and gives out awards to the top students at the Madrid School of Advanced Civil Engineering.

In addition FCC has internship agreements with the following universities: SEK University, University of Cantabria, European University (CSE) and Madrid Polytechnic University.
