The ALPINE construction company's communications team swept the board at this year's "International ARC Awards" in New York City. The best annual reports were honored during the ARC Awards at the end of September from over 2,100 entries. ALPINE's 2010 annual report won against the tough competition from 31 countries in several categories.

"The world's best annual report in the construction branch was also honored as the "Best of Austria" from among all of the other branches. "I was especially pleased that the report was not prepared by an agency but by our own team," said Werner Watznauer, Manager of ALPINE Holding, pleased with his communications team's international success.

With over 15,000 employees in more than 30 countries and under the slogan "You have to endure a harsh climate to be successful", the ALPINE Group has held its course despite the harsh climate. This guiding principle was communicated by means of text, graphics and powerful photos in ALPINE's winning 2010 annual report "You have to endure a harsh climate to be successful."
