FCC to build Torre Cajasol for 21 million euro
FCC is leading the consortium that won the contract, partnered by the Abengoa Group company INABENSA

The contract covers the second phase of the building's construction, which includes the shallow foundations, floor structure and metal crown roof.
Designed by architect César Pelli and located in Seville, the skyscraper will tower to a height of 180 metres and have four basements. It is the tallest building ever planned in Andalucía to date.
The tower will have an area of approximately 52,000 square metres. The floors will be oval in shape, and their individual areas will vary from 1,489 square metres on the lower floors to 1,170 square metres on the top floor.
The skyscraper will house high-end offices, and it belongs to a complex that also has another two buildings, slated for use as a business centre. They ring a courtyard and contain space for services, retail businesses and restaurants, in addition to a large athletic centre and spa and an exhibit and conference venue.
The vertical elements that hold up the floor structures consist of an inner central core and 14 pillars spaced around the perimeter of the building. The load-bearing structure is made of reinforced concrete (slabs and outer structure) and metal (inner floor structures in the core).
The complex will have parking space for 3,066 vehicles, 62 of which will be reserved for use by people with reduced mobility.
