Bridges and Structures
It includes the departments of Bridges, Building Structures and Civil Engineering Structures, and its function is to provide technical support to the works and bids, both in project development and in advice on construction procedures within the scope of the corresponding structural typologies.
Architecture
Its function is to advise on works and bids in the architectural aspects of the building, including roofs, facades, partitions, waterproofing and insulation, unique prefabricated elements and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Obras Especiales
Its function is to provide specialized technical support for the construction and study of metal, composite, and special structures, as well as mobile structures. In these types of projects, the construction system and the design of its auxiliary elements are defined, economic evaluations are carried out, assistance is provided with contracting and the development of the quality control plan, and support is offered during construction and assembly.
Geotecnia e Infraestructuras Viarias
It includes the Geotechnical, Geological, Tunnel, and Highway departments. It has the necessary resources to address various problems related to terrain in construction projects and tenders, such as foundations, large earthworks, underground works, etc. It also performs route optimization work for linear infrastructure projects.
Obras Hidráulicas y Marítimas
These departments have teams specializing in project design and execution processes for hydraulic and maritime works, both exterior and interior. Their function is to provide technical support for projects and bids, both in project development and construction procedures within their respective areas of expertise.
Project Supervision
It is responsible for the coordination of large international projects and tenders with technical risks that require the participation of the various departments and services within the General Sub-Directorate of Technical Services, as well as external engineering firms contracted for this purpose.
Technical Planning
Provides support, supervision, and development in planning, coordinating the various planning technicians within each organization of the company. Analyzes and implements process improvements, adapting existing programs and procedures, and delivers technical planning training in coordination with the training department.
Maternity Technology and Central Laboratory
This department is responsible for providing technical assistance to construction projects and bids related to building materials, particularly quarry materials, concrete, road surfaces, and pavements (analysis of source materials, design, and formulation). For road surfaces, this department covers the entire process, including calculation and design. It has a special focus on specialty concretes and new materials, participating in R&D projects.
