Hydraulic Works
Taking you water
Water is irreplaceable for life and for most economic activities. It is a guarantee of survival and a rare commodity. Today's society seeks higher and better quality water flows. This is the reason for the permanent investment made by Public Administrations.
The FCC Group's construction area has built more than 50 dams and intervened in another 11 existing dams. It has also built more than 100 water treatment plants (WWTPs, WTPs, desalination plants and pumping stations) and upgraded another 39 existing plants. It has installed more than 20,500 kilometres of water pipelines (for supply, irrigation, sanitation and others), making it possible to create a distribution network within everyone's reach.
In Portugal, it has had a constant presence in this area, building dams, pumping stations, WTPs, WWTPs and installing pipelines for irrigation, supply and sanitation.
