Last March, started the rehabilitation works of the adductor: S2-S3 of EPAL, which supplies water to the council of Lisbon. The work awarded to Ramalho Rosa Cobetar, S.A., representative in Portugal of FCC Construcción, by EPAL - Empresa Portuguesa das Águas Livres, S.A., represents an investment of 3.3 million euros, with a contractual term of 350 days.

Section 2 - Bairro da Mata and Alhandra tunnel

DN1500mm steel conduit with a total length of 1,600m divided in 1,380m that develop in the interior of a gallery and 220m in the exterior supported in blocks of concrete. This section presents two types of pathologies to be treated: degradation of the concrete that lines the tunnel and of the blocks and corrosion in the steel pipe.

Section 3 - São João dos Montes

A section with a total length of 620 m and currently consists of a DN 1500 mm pipe in prestressed reinforced concrete, which will be replaced by a steel pipe of the same diameter. The conduit crosses two distinct zones, a gutter zone (with one part in sight and another buried) and a buried conduit zone. Stabilization of the gutter shall be ensured by micro-pile.
