FCC in Portugal
The construction area of FCC is present in Portugal since 1997, through the Ramalho Rosa Cobetar company. The Portuguese company has recently executed projects such as Túnel de Aguas Santas, the rehabilitation of the Carlos Lopes Pavilion, which today hosts events such as Lisboa Fashion, WEB SUMMIT and international gastronomy contests.
At present, RRC develops projects such as the rehabilitation of the Island of Culatra or the modernization of the Beira Baixa Railway Line, between Covilhã and Guarda (Portugal). This contract will allow the reopening of railway operation of 46 kilometers of this branch, which had been closed to rail traffic since 2009. The development of this project is fundamental and strategic for the improvement of the country's infrastructure, revitalizing transportation railway in the north of the country and connecting and connecting with Spain.
