FCC celebrates with its employees 20 years of working in Panama

On Friday 8 July, FCC held an event to celebrate the fact that the company has spent over 20 years working in Panama.

Personnel from the central office, the Valdeza quarry and from other projects that FCC are currently carrying out in the country, attended the event which took place at Omar park.

Teams from La Valdeza, the Ciudad de la Salud and the Management participated in a football tournament, won by the latter, which formed part of the event. Different fun activities, including group games and karaoke, also took place.

At the event, employees with over 10 years in the company were recognised. One of those, Omar Vargas, said he was very proud to be a part of FCC Construcción, a company that has helped him to develop as a mechanic and as a person, allowing him to provide his family with a better life during his time at the company. "Thanks to FCC, I have been able to participate and play a part in the development of the great country that is Panama." Omar, head of Mechanics at the Machinery Depot, is the longest serving employee at FCC Panama.

Manuel A. Olivares, manager of FCC Construcción in Central America, and Antonio López, Administration and Finance Manager of FCC Construcción in Central America and Mexico, thanked all of those who have participated in FCC Panama and encouraged them to continue working together for the beautiful country, contributing to its development.
